THE HEAVENT AWARDS WILL TAKE PLACE 1st & 2nd SEPTEMBER 2020
For fourteen years, the HEAVENT AWARDS co-organized by HEAVENT and the NEWS EVENEMENT(S) have been rewarding the most memorable events of the past year. They represent a unique opportunity to give a strong visibility to the most stunning events.
For this 2020 edition, a simplified procedure in 4 steps is proposed:
1 / Fill in your application form
The online registrations are open until 31 March 2020
You must describe your project (one separate entry for each application) by answering the questions and provide us with a first 2-minutes video.
The same entry can be presented in 2 categories maximum.
Attention: the application will be validated upon receipt of payment of the participation fee and provided that the entry file is duly completed.
2 / Discover the nominees end of April
The partner associations, Heavent, the News Evenement(s) and some members of the jury select for each of the categories 5 to 6 finalists.
The nominated agencies will be informed by email mid-March. For each nominated project, the candidates will then have to send a second shorter video (30 sec maximum). Thus, 2 videos to provide: 2 minutes for the jury and 30 seconds for broadcast during the awards ceremony.
3 / Prepare your jury presentation
For each shortlisted entry, the candidates (agency and client) will have to present together their project live in front of the jury on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd September 2020 in Cannes.
The presentations will be held over the two days and will be followed by a deliberation session of the jury. Their votes represent 60% of the final score.
4 / Attend the awards ceremony
It will take place Wednesday evening, 2nd September 2020, at the Palais des Festivals et Congrès of Cannes in the “Grand Auditorium”: A ceremony expected by the entire sector, with a presentation of all nominated projects and an interactive vote of the invited audience. These votes represent 40% of the final score.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
Any company, agency, organizer of fairs and congresses having produced in 2019 * an event corresponding to one of the categories mentioned below.
* (between 1st January and 31st December 2019)
The criteria (common to each category)
- Creativity / innovation: creative idea, originality and technological innovation
- Quality of production: design, finishing, workflow management, technique, etc.
- Quality of the oral presentation (physical presence of the client required)
RULES AND REGULATIONS
By submitting a registration form, each participant agrees to sign the rules and to respect:
- The deadline for sending the elements (case, questionnaire, videos, participation fees …)
- The conformity of the requested elements
- The agreement of your client
- The calendar of the presentations: both, agency and client, agree to be available on 7th and 8th July for the jury presentation and award ceremony in Cannes (departure 9 July)
DEADLINE OF ENTRIES AND PROVIDING OF ELEMENTS
Applications must be completed online no later than 31 March 2020.
1 – BtoC event award
Public event, B to C road show, pop-up store, exhibition, street-marketing …
2 – BtoB event award
Event targeting a professional audience. Road show, product launch, public relations operation, customer/prospect evening, press conference, open day, sales events…
3 – Internal communications event award
Product launch, sales force meeting, internal evening event, workshop, conference …
4 – Exceptional event award
Major event like commemoration, opening ceremony, summit … gathering a large number of participants and involving the design of exceptional creation, technical production and logistics
5 – Sport, Cultural, Educational or Entertainment Event award
Creation of an event, activation of brands in sponsoring, deployment of a partnership, exhibition, music festival, show …
6 – Brand experience and multichannel award
Remarkable event experience proposed by a brand to its audiences in different communication channels in order to promote and valorize a brand, a product or values.
7 – Influencer and media relations event award
Event targeting the general public using communication via the media and/or influencers to increase brand or product awareness.
8 – Forum, summit, congress, fair award
In B2B or B2C, innovative tools, uplifting the traditional formats of these event typologies
9 – Incentive/travel/teambuilding award
Events aiming to thank, reward and motivate teams via a common day or stay

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
The results will be unveiled on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 in Cannes, during the award ceremony bringing together Top Buyers and Heavent Meetings participants.
The winners will be mentioned on:
- all the post event press releases that will be sent to the professional press,
- the Heavent Meetings website, heavent-meetings.com,
- the Heavent Awards website, heavent-awards.com
- the website news-evenements.fr and the Newsletter Evenement(s),
- the Heavent social networks
A registration fee of 850 € excluding VAT (1.020 € including VAT) for the first application, 300 € excluding VAT (360 € including VAT) for every additional application or a same application in a different category.
We are pleased to offer three nights BB in a hotel in Cannes (31st August, 1st and 2nd September) to the nominees (2 persons per nomination: 1 person representing the agency and 1 person representing the client) who will have been shortlisted by the jury and who will have to take part in the jury presentations in Cannes.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE NO LATER THAN 31 MARCH 2020
A complete file must include:
- your payment Once you finalized your entries, you will receive a mail with payment instructions
- the registration form* fully completed on the dedicated website (questions, requested information and video)
* one form per file
ANY OUT OF FORMAT DOCUMENT WILL BE REFUSED
The finalist files must provide a film of 30 seconds maximum which will be broadcasted during the ceremony (text inlays, voiceover, key figures … will help the readability of your project). In order to facilitate the understanding, a text summarizing your event will also be asked. For the jury presentation, you are free to choose the 2 min video sent when submitting your application or the 30 sec video
Weyou Group declines all responsibility in the event of theft or damage to the items presented.
All elements of participation not claimed before October 10, 2020 will not be kept.
