For 18 years, the HEAVENT AWARDS, created by Romuald Gadrat and organized by Weyou Group, have been honoring the most remarkable event projects of the year. The 2026 edition provides a unique opportunity to recognize events held between January 1st and December 31st, 2025.
For the past 3 years, the HEAVENT AWARDS have also highlighted key contributors to the success of events:
- Venues and/or destinations that have produced or co-produced major events.
- Service providers that have created exceptional technical setups.
The 18th edition of the HEAVENT AWARDS will take place on March 25th and 26th, 2026, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes.

Categories
1 – BtoB Event Award
Recognizes an event aimed at a professional audience.
Examples of formats: meeting, conference, trade show, roadshow, seminar, evening event, product launch.
2 – BtoC Event Award
Recognizes an event designed for consumers or end-users.
Examples of formats: meeting, conference, trade show, roadshow, evening event, pop-up store, etc.
3 – Influence and Media Relations Event Award
Recognizes a program designed to create, strengthen, or manage relationships between a brand and influencers, journalists, media, and/or Key Opinion Leaders.
Examples of formats: launch event, press trip, influencer activation, media meet-up, etc.
4 – Incentive, Travel or Team Building Event Award
Recognizes an event aimed at bringing together, thanking, or motivating teams, employees, or partners.
Examples of formats: trip, incentive stay, team-building day, team cohesion event, etc.
5 – Internal Communication Event Award
Recognizes an event designed for an internal audience: information sharing, mobilization, team-building, celebration.
Examples of formats: internal meeting, product launch, sales convention, internal party, study day, seminar, etc.
6 – Public Brand Activation Award
Recognizes an operation designed to directly engage consumers with a brand.
Examples of formats: pop-up store, street marketing, games, experiential setup, digital campaign, roadshow, etc.
7 – Exceptional/Commemorative/Grand Ceremony Event Award
Recognizes a spectacular event that gathers a large number of participants and requires significant technical and logistical production.
Examples of formats: commemoration, grand ceremony, summit, major institutional event, etc.
8 – Luxury Event Award
Recognizes a prestigious event dedicated to showcasing collections, products, or concepts in the following fields: fashion, beauty, jewelry, watchmaking, hospitality, lifestyle, etc.
Examples of formats: fashion show, performance, launches, openings, premieres, etc.
In addition, the jury will also award
- the Grand Prix France du Jury
- the International Grand Prix du Jury
These last two awards will not be subject to public voting.
Schedule
1- Online Registration
Online registrations are open from December 15, 2025, to February 13, 2026.
Companies, agencies, and organizers of trade shows or conferences that have organized an event (1st January – 31st December 2025) in one of the eight categories are eligible to apply.
- The same project can be submitted in a maximum of two categories.
- The application is only validated once the registration fee has been paid and the application form completed.
2- Finalist Selection
At the end of February 2026, some members of the jury, partner associations, Heavent, and News Événements will select 3 to 7 finalist projects per category. The nominated agencies will be informed of their selection via email.
3- Presentations
The jury presentations will take place on March 25 and 26, 2026, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes. Each finalist project must be presented to the jury by both the agency and the client, together. After the presentations, the jury will deliberate and assign 60% of the final score, with the remaining 40% determined by the public vote during the ceremony.
4- HEAVENT AWARDS Ceremony
The HEAVENT AWARDS ceremony will take place on March 26, 2026, evening, in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, with key players from the events industry, including top buyers and participants of Heavent Meetings, in attendance.
Their votes will help determine the winners, complementing the jury’s vote.
Rating criteria
The jury will evaluate the applications according to the following criteria:
- Creativity / Innovation:
Originality of the concept, relevance of the approach, integration of creative, technological, or AI-based solutions. - Quality of execution:
Overall execution: design, artistic direction, finishing, fluidity of the experience, technical and logistical mastery. - Effectiveness:
Achievement of objectives: ROI, KPIs, business and/or media impact, satisfaction of the relevant audiences. - CSR:
Consideration of environmental and social issues: eco-design, waste management, inclusion, responsibility in the choice of partners. - Joint presence of agency / client:
Mandatory participation of both parties, ensuring a comprehensive vision of the project and shared insights between creation and strategy. - Quality of the oral presentation:
Clarity, structure, relevance of the content, and ability to answer the jury’s questions.

By submitting an application, each candidate agrees to comply with the entire set of rules, including:
- Adherence to deadlines (submission of administrative documents, questionnaire, video, payment of fees)
- Accuracy of the provided materials
- Joint availability of the agency and client for the presentations on March 25th and 26th, 2026, in Cannes (return on March 27th)
Applications will only be validated after the payment of participation fees and provided that the application is fully completed.

Client Coverage
For applications nominated by the jury, the organization will cover for the client exclusively:
- Round-trip transport Paris/Nice
- Transfers on-site
- Two nights in a 5-star hotel in Cannes (March 25 and 26, 2026)

Standard Rate
- €995 excl. VAT (or €1.194 incl. VAT) for one application
- €425 excl. VAT (or €510 incl. VAT) for each additional application (another category or project)
Early Bird Rate (if submitted before January 20th, 2026)
- €895 excl. VAT (or €1.074 incl. VAT) for one application
- €375 excl. VAT (or €450 incl. VAT) for each additional application
Coverage for International Nominees
For nominated applications, the organization will cover three nights in a 5-star hotel in Cannes and airport transfers Nice/Cannes/Nice for a maximum of two persons per nomination: one person from the agency and one person from the client.

We are pleased to cover round-trip transportation (Paris/Nice) as well as two nights in a 5-star hotel in Cannes (March 25th and 26th, 2026) for the client shortlisted by the jury.

Coverage for international nominees
For shortlisted applications, the organizers will provide three nights in a 5-star hotel in Cannes for maximum two persons per application: one representative of the venue and one representative of the client.

There is no pitch presentation in front of the HEAVENT AWARDS jury. The nominated applications are submitted exclusively to the public vote during the HEAVENT AWARDS ceremony on March 26th, 2026.
At the end of February 2026, several jury members, partner associations, Heavent, and News Événements will select the finalist entries, which will be notified of their selection by email.
