For thirteen years now, HEAVENT AWARDS co-organized by HEAVENT and the NEWS EVENEMENT(S) have been rewarding the most memorable events of the past year.
The HEAVENT AWARDS represent a unique opportunity to give a strong visibility to the most stunning events.
For this 2019 edition, a simplified procedure in 4 steps is proposed:
1/ Fill out your application form:
Online registrations are open from 20 December 2018 to 4 February 2019
Please describe your project (one for each event) by answering questions and providing us with a first 2 minute video.
Important remark :the application will be validated only upon receipt of payment of the participation fee and provided that the application is correctly completed.
2/ Discover the nominees end of February
The partner associations, Heavent, the News Evenement(s) and some members of the jury select for each category 3 to 5 nominees.
For each project, the nominated candidates will have to send a second, shorter video, 30 sec maximum.
In case of nomination, 2 videos to provide: 2 min. for the jury and 30 sec to be broadcasted during the awards ceremony.
3/ Prepare your presentation
For each nominated case, the candidates (agency AND client) will have to present their event together in front of the jury on Wednesday 27 or Thursday 28 March 2019 in Cannes.
The presentations will be held over the two days and will be followed by a deliberation session of the jury. These votes represent 60% of the final choice.
4/ Attend the Awards Ceremony
It will take place Thursday, 28 March 2019, in the “Grand Auditorium” of the Palais des Festivals de Cannes
The Heavent Awards : a ceremony expected by the entire event sector with a presentation of the nominated event and an interactive vote of the public. These votes represent 40% of the final choice.
You will discover further information below, and we look forward to seeing you among the participants in this key award for our sector.
WHO CAN ATTEND ?
Any company, agency, organizer of fairs and congresses having produced in 2018 * an event corresponding to one of the categories mentioned below. * (between 1st January and 31st December 2018)
CRITERIA (common to each category)
- Creativity / innovation: creative idea, originality and technological innovation
- Quality of realization: design, finishing, flow management, technical …
- Effectiveness: Achievement of objectives (ROI, KPI, analyses, media and / or business impact …)
- Quality of the oral presentation (presence of the client mandatory, otherwise 0)
- CSR: taking into account, for the realization, environmental and social issues
RULES AND REGULATIONS
By submitting a registration form, each participant agrees to sign the rules and to respect in particular:
- The deadline for sending the items (application, questionnaire, videos, participation fees …)·
- The conformity of the requested elements·
- The agreement of your client·
- The calendar of the presentations: both, agencies and client, agree to be available 27 and 28 March for the presentation in Cannes (departure 29 March)

2 – Event Award B2B
Event targeted to a professional audience. Road show, product launch, public relations, client/prospect evening event, press conference, open day, sales events…
3 – Internal communication Event Award
Product launch, sales force meeting, internal evening event, workshop, training event, conference…
4 – Exceptional event Award
Major event like commemoration, opening ceremony, summit … gathering a large number of participants and involving the design of exceptional creation, technical production and logistics
5 – Sport, Cultural, Educational or Entertainment Event Award
Event creation, sponsorship branding, partnership operation, exhibition, music festival, show…
6 – Integrated or Multichannel Event Award
Using multiple communication channels for one event communication: using both, IRL and digital tools
7 – Brand experience Event Award
Remarkable experience and interaction proposed by a brand to its audiences in order to create commitment with its products, services and/or values.
8 – Forum, Summit, Congress, Fair Award
In B2B or B2C, innovative tools, stimulating the traditional formats of these event typologies
9 – Incentive/travel/teambuilding Award
Events aiming to thank, reward and motivate teams via a common day or stay

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
The results will be unveiled on Thursday, 28 March 2019 in Cannes, during the awards ceremony bringing together Top Buyers and Heavent Meetings participants.
The winners will be mentioned on :
- All post event press releases that will be sent to the professional press,·

For international applications :
800 euros excluding VAT (960 euros including VAT) for the first application, 280 euros HT (336 euros TTC) for every additional application.
We are pleased to offer three nights in 5* hotel in Cannes (26, 27 & 28 March) to the nominees (2 persons per nomination: 1 person representing the agency and 1 person representing the client) who will have been shortlisted by the jury and who will take part in the jury presentations in Cannes.
The shortlisted cases will have to provide a film of maximum 30 seconds which will be diffused during the ceremony (inlays of text, voice-over, key figures … will help for the comprehension of your event)To facilitate the understanding for the audience, a text summarizing your event will also be required.
For the jury presentation, you are free to choose the 2-minute video sent for the application or the 30-second video.
Weyou Group declines all responsibility in case of theft or deterioration of the items presented. All unclaimed entries by 30 April 2019 will not be retained.
